Another large vehicle this month with front & sides of cab as well as the back doors. Also the back ribbed doors had to be painted.
Painted the sign for the new Scrummies shop in Horncastle Also the two menu boards which were painted straight on the inside wall of the shop.
It was a real privilege this month to be trusted with the Tattershall village sign to repaint. It’s always a pleasure to repaint these wonderful colourful signs and Lincolnshire is blessed to have lots of them. Below are the before and after pictures of the sign BEFORE. &. AFTER Below is one of the 3 Conningsby signs & also one of the 2 New York signs that I have painted over the last few years.
It was nice to be called back to Lincolnshire Drainage Solutions. As you may recall I lettered a dumper truck for them earlier this year. This time it was a large trailer. Below is the dumper truck I painted earlier in the year.
I spent a very enjoyable time lining four engines this month for a very impressive company who make these wonderful locomotives in all colours. . The engines are sent all over the world and the company is a real credit to Lincolnshire. Hopefully there will be many more to line as their old signwriter has retired let’s hope I can keep his standard up.
Nice to be back to the Bailgate in Lincoln. It’s always a pleasure to work there especially near Christmas. Although the atmosphere was not as it usually is with everyone wearing masks and worrying about the shutdown which was due to start the next day. Worrying times indeed. The shop was a New Eco (no packaging shop) and it will be interesting to see how well it does.I certainly had some favourable comments while I was painting it .
