This month I returned to "Truly Vintage " for another interesting and different job. The job in question was six signs of different decades (for the different decades of her shop ) to give the impression of travelling through time in the many rooms of Jaquie's shop. Whilst doing the era signs I also repainted one of Jacquie's advertising waiters which you can also see below.
One of the many shops I painted this month was "Interiors Home " which has just opened in busy old Woodhall Spa. Teri the owner has lots of nice things for sale and also hopes to run some courses later on in the year and has already had plenty of interest. Here below are some pictures taken inside Teri's shop and as you can clearly see it really is a magical shop and her hard work really shows. If you get the chance the shop is certainly well worth a visit.
I painted the Silk Orchid canopy in Woodhall Spa this month. It's a canopy I know well as I have painted it four times now over the years. This time the owners have changed the colour of the canopy to brown and it really improves the look. See what you think. Doesn't it look good in situ. I enjoyed painting it even though painting on cloth is so much harder than painting on vinyl.
Yet another vintage bike this month. Making it my 5th in just over a year. Strange how they have become popular once again but I'm not complaining. Jonathan and his wife, have opened a new floral shop situated in West Ashby. Let's hope the shop does well but with all the interest so far things are looking good. Above you can see the shop bike so let us hope it does it's job and attracts the public. Below are two of the other bikes I have lettered over the past year. One of which can be seen painted in time lapse in my video section which you can find on my home page.
