While out on a walk on the coast it was nice to see one of my old signs still looking good after 7+ years. It’s always a pleasure to see a sign you painted especially as you don’t always get the opportunity to see it in situation.

A different sign this month when I was asked to reproduce this old David Brown Sign. It was a nice logo to paint.
While in Lincoln painting in the Cornhill Quarter it was nice to get a picture of the pharmacy I painted on without the cage and brick rubble around. Now that it is fully open for business.
I painted the final and largest of the four wall paintings for Lincoln’s Cornhill Quarter this month. I was very lucky with the weather and had a glorious day. Topped off with a fly over by the “Red Arrows” in full formation coloured smoke included...... WOW... This has been a project I have enjoyed and I have been immensely proud to have been a small part of it. Below a picture of me painting .....just to give an idea of the scale & size of some of the smaller letters. Up at the top I had a great view of the wonderful Lincoln Cathedral for the second time this month.
Another return job this month as I painted the opening times onto the front door window at “Arnold’s Funeral Service” in Woodhall Spa.
This month I had the pleasure of painting the beautiful shop front of the very successful “Robec” shop in Horncastle.
It was nice to return to a regular client to paint a Massey Harris farm machine for him. It’s always a pleasure to paint the old machinery as you always learn so much about them from their knowledgeable owners. While there I also painted some tractor seats.
It was nice to work on such a wonderful old vehicle this month. The vehicle was an Austin 12 which is used for television work. My job was to paint round the windows to look like wood. It was a real pleasure to work on this vehicle after all it’s not every day you work on a Television Star. Below is the before and after pictures of the windows.
I spent a peaceful afternoon in the sun painting a dumper truck for “Lincolnshire Drainage Solution “
