This month I had the job of restoring the old Nettleham school sheild which has stood outside the front of the building for many years. Unfortunately time had caught up with the sheild and it was not looking its best. But now it's finally back up in pristine condition again outside the reception doors at the school. You can see the transition below.

It was banners all round this month as I had five to do in various sizes. Three of these were.... Firstly the two largest ones (both measuring 3 mtrs by 1mtrs) were the Horncastle & Coningsby NFU which is to hang at their various events around the county.... And "Saboteurs" who are a band based in the Sleaford area and they are going to use the banner as a backdrop when they are on stage preforming....... The third one (measuring 6ft x 2ft) was for the new Clover day centre which has just opened in Louth. You can see photos of all three banners below. A home for hoggy !!Also this month I got the nice little job of signwriting an unusual object. The object in question was an hedgehog box , not something I get the chance to paint every day so it was nice to paint something different. Both client and hopefully hedgehog happy.
It was a great thrill this month to paint a sign for the newly acquired Wi North Lincolnshire headquarters building in Horncastle. It was especially nice because this is such an important year for the WI as they are celebrating their one hundred year annivr. you can see the sign below hope you like it. churnA different job this month as I painted on an old milk churn which was a bit unusual. It was for the cow shed restaurant which is in "The Durham Ox" pub in Thimbleby . The cow shed for those of you who have not visited the pub is a dining area which has lots of farming memorabilia dotted about (you can see the churn in situation below) the room is a reall joy to look round while you eat one of their wonderful home cooked meals. I can recommend the "cow pie" which is full of meat and tastes really great...by the way I did not know those milk churns weighed so much and this one was empty too!!
