Di and I went and had a look round the village and were very impressed with all the hard work everyone had put in.
I had done quite a bit of work for some of the stall holders and was very happy with how my signs looked in their 40's setting.
The shops in Woodhall Spa were all decorated with flags and bunting. The windows had shatterproof tape on along with war memorabilia, news clippings and photos. It really was a great treat to see and thanks must go to all the people and organisers involved with setting the event up.
While there I could not resist taking a few pictures of some of the shops and vehicles I had sign written over the last few years looking good in their forties makeover...... see what you think.
annies
The shop has you can see below is in a row of shops and looks superb with it`s hanging baskets and wonderful setting........ It gets better inside too as Annie has a bueatiful selection of bags, purses and lots of gifts for ladies ....and if Annie does not quite have what your looking for then I am sure she can get it.
Her bags are a real treat to see too (the ladies tell me) and it was certainly a popular place to visit the day we dropped off her signs with lots of customers wanting to have a look round even though it was not quite finished.
Good luck to Annie Im sure it will prove to be a big success I only hope my signs do the shop justice!!
