I had a nice afternoon lettering a pickup cover in Sleaford for the very successful Kiowa firm. They had a really nice logo with bright colours which was a pleasure to paint and very enjoyable but what do you think.

It was nice to return to the Melrose in Woodhall Spa again this month to paint a new sandwich board for the restaurant.
Whilst delivering the sign it was nice to see the place full of happy diners. It was nice to be asked back to work again for "Natalie Dams Beauty" in Stamford. Natalie has moved to bigger premises in The town and needed a new hanging sign which I was pleased to paint for her and also her neighbours "Peter's Cleaners" who have the bottom half of the sign. It won't come as a surprise to know Richard made the swinger which was a top class job as always. The sign looked good and both shops were happy with the result,. Let's hope it attracts lots of new business for both of them. Above are some shots of the outside of the shop which looks fantastic but is no surprise as it is in the beautiful town of Stamford. and finally above is the inside sign I painted last year for Natalie's old shop. It's nice to see Natalie doing well and I'm sure she will continue going from strength to strength.
Yet more signs for the lovely ladies at Alford Craft Market this month The new signs will be used in the local area to advertise their up & coming events so keep an eye out for them you can see them below
It was a return visit to the Mayors office in Lincoln this month to update the Mayors board. Below you can see the new van parked at the front door. Sadly no red carpet though!!
Another successful 40's Weekend again this year with lots of people attending the now very large event. All the shops made a great effort to decorate for the two days and the village looked fantastic Above and below are just a small selection of the shops I have painted in the village over the last few years and all were splendidly decorated up for the event. It was nice to see Charlie once again (see below). He is fast becoming a fixture at the event and always brings a smile to everyone he meets and many want a picture with him. Charlie tells me he is respraying his van again this year so hopefully I may have the great pleasure of signwriting it all over again.
More trailers again this month and one of which was a small trailer which made a change. It was for a local Pest Control firm.
This month I had to return to Lincolns "Steep Hill" area to do some quotes and it was nice to see the antique shop I had painted earlier in the year looking so nice with all it's wears outside, it reminded me of scenes from "Last of the summer wine"
I really enjoyed painting the shop which is in a lovely part of Lincoln and good to see them doing so well.. it was time to return to "First" in Horncastle to do Sally's summer window. This time summer flowers and a few butterflies above the grass it was nice to hear Sally had won a prize this month for retailer of the year. Acknowledgement for all the hard work her and her staff put in throughout the year
