Yet another shop front to paint in Sleaford Market Place. This time it was a children’s clothing shop This is now the ninth shop I have done in the market place and it was nice to be recognised and remembered by lots of the passers-by.

This month it was nice to have a beautiful old hand cart to repaint and signwrite. The cart is going to sell sweets and candy apples round all the shows in the Lincoln area. The roof was then painted and highlighted. It will be nice to see the trailer when it’s all together & working. It was a real joy to paint and bring back to life.
It was nice to be involved with the new signs for Leadenham Teahouse and the wonderful owners Kirsty and Kate. They made things very easy by knowing exactly what they wanted . I had the two large roadside signs to do as well as the hanging sign and A-boards. All the woodwork was done by Richard Burton and was as always spot on. The Teahouse is a lovely place and well worth a visit it’s not a surprise that it has won so many awards , with its great service, lovely cakes and drinks along with such friendly staff.
Fantastic job to kick off the new year. As I was asked to paint the wall at the new entrance to the Cornhill Quarter from the new car park. Lincoln is being transformed and what an honour to be part of it. Thousands of people will walk past it ... let’s hope they like what they see. Below is the other side of the passageway which I painted earlier in the month.
It was good to be able to help Sally at “First” in Horncastle with her Christmas windows again this year. I know Christmas has finally arrived when I paint them. The challenge this year was to paint some enchanted winter trees in both her windows as you can see both by day and night.
