This month I painted some large wooden signs for the Royal Windsor Horse Show which takes place from 9th to the 14th May. As you can see there were several of them.

It was nice to return to thel Book fayre in Woodhall Spa. You may remember I painted all the exterior signs last year and now it was time for all the interior signs which you can see below. As you can see below the outside signs still look well and it’s nice to see the shop doing so well. It’s always a pleasure to work at the Book Fayre as it is such a nice shop with lots and lots of wonderful books and gifts to look at. It’s also really light with lots of space for wheelchairs or prams. They make a great coffee!!
It was nice to be able to go back and do some more work again for Anita at the Art Gallery in Horncastle. Since opening last year Anita has gone from strength to strength and has now extended into the shop next door where she has added more gallery space for up and coming artists to display their work. Along with all the wonderful artwork Anita also teaches art. I painted the new shop front along with painting on the windows and also the opening times on the door.
Bit of an unusual job this month when I painted some garage doors near Newark. The doors in question were for Harrison’s who you may remember I had the pleasure of painting their beautiful old “Holes Brewery” lorry last year. When I went to paint the doors t was a rare, sunny day luckily for me. Below is the Holes Brewery lorry from last year.
