It was nice to get back to some vintage stuff this month and I returned to one of my customers Malcolm to signwright his sprayer and what a stunning example it was. He has restored it to pristine condition and it was a privlage to work on it. You may remember I did some other work for Malcolm last year which you can see below

I painted "The Queens Hotel's" new canopy this month. It's the second time I have painted the Skegnes landmark and it's nice to see it looking it's best again. It's seven years ago since I last painted the canopy.....how quick time goes by !!
Jubilee Park Bowling Club have now officially opened their new club house and doesn't it look good. I was pleased to get the job of painting their new signs. The club has been going now since 1967 and is a real credit to the park and indeed Woodhall Spa where all the members are always friendly. This year they have moved up to a higher league so let's wish them all the best for the coming season.
Spring is here once again and it was time to paint tthe windows for spring at "First" shop in Horncastle. This seasons theme was butterflies and I was lucky enough to get a sunny day to paint the windows and it certainly felt more like summer especially surrounded by 64 colourful butterflies.
This month I had a different and unusual job. It was a dog bed for two dogs Finlay and Freddie .... bags the top bunk!!! Below are some more unusual things I have lettered for the same client
This month two of the newly refurbished six shops in Sleaford market place were ready for lettering. The first one was a Unisex Hairdresser called "Inspirations" and that was followed by "Hairy Fairy" an upscaling furniture shop. The shops have been refurbished to a high standard as you can see and when all six are finished I'm sure the building will be a real credit to Sleaford I had a great time painting the shops with lots of nice comments from the passers by. Everyone seemed pleased the shops were being refurbished.
I had the rather unusual job this month of lettering 9 draw fronts for an old dentists cabinet. Although the job was unusual I enjoyed it and look forward to some more similar items.
This month I was lucky enough to paint five vans. One of which was Colin Grabys from Woodhall Spa. Colin has just gone on his own after many years of working with other painters .. let's hope things work out for him with his painting future and it's not long before I letter his next van.
