Another unusual job this month was an old German plane which I painted. It’s the second plane I have painted for the same client and hopefully there are more to come this year. I look forward to doing them as they are always a pleasure and delight to work on. below you can see the one I painted last year.

A very nice job this month painting these two house signs for a wonderful new house near Louth. Above is the house sign glued onto a old millstone which is to be erected at the gate at a later date. Below is the house name painted onto a roof slate which has been fixed onto the wall next to the porch.
It was nice to be in Lincoln again this time at the offices of “Page Design” to paint their logo on the walls both inside and out. It was an enjoyable day working in a wonderful building. Below you can see a closeup of the logo. Outside was a little more trying as painting on brickwork is always difficult but you can see the results below. They cant have been too bad as the neighbouring firm asked me to paint their wall as well so a great result all round.
Time for a makeover at the Broadway centre in Woodhall Spa. First was their hanging sign. You can see the results below. Now the small job of changing all the other signs at the centre both inside and out which will start over the next few weeks.
Yet more interior walls to paint this month my first one was for Jaquie at “Something Truly Vintage” in Horncastle. It is for one of her new decade themed rooms & was a real treat to paint. The wall featured a jazz band sillohette and also musical notes along the wall. If you haven’t been to “Something Truly Vintage” then you are missing out. Not only is it a vintage antique shop but it’s also a fantastic journey down memory lane & a trip down through the years as each room is another decade. The pictures below really don’t do it justice. Why not visit believe me you won’t be sorry!!
