It was nice of Malcolm to send these pictures of his wonderful plough which I lettered for him last month. It’s always nice to see the finished project.

Another new shop opened this month when “Stations Butchers” took over the shop vacated by Russel Hirsts. I had the job of repairing and repainting the two black boards outside along with painting a new shop sign above. Tim the new proprietor has had a nice logo designed and it was a pleasure to paint. The large main wooden framed sign was made for me by Richard Burton who as always made a superb job. Good luck to Tim who is finally opening his own shop after many years of working for other butchers.
I painted a new blind for Graham Fidling this month. You may remember Graham opened the shop in Woodhall earlier this year and it is going from strength to strength as his shop is very popular. The blind is put down at night when the shop closes
A fun morning working in “The Bull Ring Barbers” in Horncastle for the lovely Hayley. My job was to paint the logo onto the window. Hayley’s shop has a wonderful atmosphere and my morning was made more interesting listening to all the stories from the customers. Now I’ve just got to start on the outside of the shop in the next few weeks now.
A very nice building to work on this month. As I worked on Neil Dowlman’s Boston Office which has been repainted outside. I lettered the swinging sign with Neil’s new logo and also replaced the text above the door. It was a pleasure as always working for Neil. His shops are always in a pristine state.
