Some vintage bike number plates was a small job but I was pleased to help out. It’s always nice to see these wonderful restored bikes on the road & round the shows.
I painted an advertising board for Dean at “Broadway Autos” to go on the Woodhall Spa Cricket Pavilion. It was especially nice to pant the car silhouette. I was so impressed with the Cricket Club I am thinking of advertising myself. .....So watch this space. It was especially nice to see a couple of the advertising boards I had painted about three years previously still looking new and holding there own against the many plastic ones.
I really do have a wonderful job working on such beautiful vehicles. One I painted this month was picking out the letters on the back tailgate t of a wonderful American restoration.
Another very unusual job for Truly Vintage of Horncastle. Yes it’s not many times I find myself painting old shop mannequins but I really enjoyed it. As you can se Jaquie has turned them into a trendy light (what else!!) she really is a talented lady. My job was to paint the lettering down the two sides along with some Ivy.
I finally was able to put up the repaired and repainted hanging sign for Neil Dowlman. It was damaged in the very strong winds last month but as you can see Richard did a fantastic job repairing the frame and now it’s back in it’s rightful place in Horncastle.
It was nice to be back in Horncastle. This time putting up the new sign for Mellor’s Family Butchers who have been in the town for many years. Above is the picture of the beast which I painted on both ends of the sign A big Thankyou to Richard Burton for his superb carpentry and also Joe for his help fitting the sign.
