It was nice to do some jobs in Skegness this month but it was very windy. The first job was the canopy situated at the entrance to the pier. In fact it is nearly the last sign in Skegness and looks across to France. The second job was the "Snack Shack" cabin which is not too far away from the pier and is in a busy alley just outside the fun fair. It is the new venture of Neil who I have done many signs for in the past. Let's hope his new venture "The Snack Shack" is round for a long time. You can see the cabin below.

"WHAT'S ON!!.... Well you don't need to ask that question at the Malcolm Arms near Boston because all you have to do is look at their new boards which are situated outside their award winning premises. The board advertises their forth coming attractions and there are lots of events coming up over the next few months I could be very busy too.
It was nice this month to create a sign for a new up and coming business. The business in question is the "Cosy Tea Rooms' near Lincoln. The owner Nicky has started the business from her home and we wish her well.
It was a pleasure this month to work on another beautiful Edwardian shop in Horncastle. The shop in question (Graces Boutique) which has been trading in Horncastle now for 6 years and is owned by the lovely Joanne who it was a pleasure to work for. Joanne has named her shop after daughter Grace and wanted the shop name painted on the main shop window along with the opening times on her door and to finish the shop off a board fitted outside the shop all of which you can see below. Graces Boutique is a really nice shop and one of the hidden attractions in Horncastle (hopefully not hidden anymore) I was certainly surprised when I first entered the shop. The boutique sells lots of lovely ladies clothes, hats, bags, scarves, gloves and lots more. It really is an Aladdin's cave and much bigger than it looks from the outside as you can see below. Whilst I was signwriting the shop window lots of people came in and there were not many left empty handed. So if you are in Horncastle take a look inside at the many delights!! I know you won't be disappointed. Above are just some of the lovely items and clothing in Joanne's "Grace's Boutique" in Horncastle.
I started the new year off with some great jobs for Ian Baumber Tarpaulin's at Sleaford. The jobs in question were two very large trailer covers. One as you can see below was for Lobina Transport. The second this time was a trailer sheet, for John Pocklingtons The covers were difficult to move round but thankfully there was plenty of room in Ian's large units to do the jobs.
