IThis month I was lucky enough to sign write a fantastic Mk1 Escort van . The owner has done a wonderful job as you can see below. And as always what a privilege to be just a small part of its superb restoration

On the hottest week of the year so far I had the job of restoring and repainting the largest ice cream in Woodhall Spa. The ice cream sign has hung in Woodhall Spa for many years at what was “just Deserts” but is now Woodlands Cafe. You can see the before and after pictures below.
I painted some lettering on some shop windows this month. It’s always interesting painting windows and watching the world go by outside as you do your work. The shop was owned by the lovely Jaquie and it was as always nice to work in such an interesting shop.
It was nice to hear this month that a beautiful vintage lorry I painted last year has won a top award on its first outing and is to be featured in some top magazines. Paul who restored the lorry to it’s pristine condition with lots of hard work over many years was a pleasure to work for and it was such an honour to play just a small part in this wonderful project. You can see below a time lapse video of me signwriting the lorry last year. It was my privilege to work on a beautiful old cottage this month. The cottage in Roughton, which is steeped in history, had its name painted back on to the porch and it was a pleasure to do. It was so peaceful and I half expected a horse and cart to pull up outside.
It was nice to have a bit of outside work during the warm weather. The job was a large outside court yard wall and as you can see I painted “The Garden of the Muses” and also two of the clients favourite quotations on it. The job was a real pleasure to do for a lovely lady and whilst painting I was treated to a wonderful aroma from her beautiful roses.
